Daddy turned 66 on May 21. I don't think I have ever seen someone so excited to be 66! He was thrilled because now he can draw his FULL Social Security benefits - Ha!! He was so cute about the whole thing.
Getting older has been a rude awakening for him. He still can't get used to, or accept the fact that he can't do as much as he once could. He has always been a big joker and still pokes fun at himself from time to time but, I know that he is only doing that to cover up the reality that he is getting older.
We celebrated his birthday on Sunday, May 23. Will had a ballgame so he and Todd didn't get to come. The boys had been to another party earlier and I didn't do a very good job of making pictures but I did get one of the Boys, Kit-Kat, and Duck.
I had to put this picture on here of Nash and Rome. All day I kept blaming his swollen eye on a mosquito bite only to realize way later in the day that Rome had thrown a car - Doc Hudson - at Nash before Church and that is where it hit him!
I really need to start paying closer attention to them...
Poor Baby!
