Not Me! Monday

Welcome to Not Me! Monday! This blog carnival was created by MckMama. You can head over to her blog to read what she and everyone else have not been doing this week.

Since it has been raining in Biblical proportians, I did not put up the tent, get out the crawling tunnel, and bring in the slide from outside just so the boys could get some energy out. No, not me! I am so much more concerned with keeping them calm while indoors.

Since I did not do that, my den does not currently look like this...

On Wednesday, I did not call Ali and invite she and her daughter, Lizzie, over for a play date. When inviting her, I did not tell her I wasn't showering so she didn't have to shower on my account. No, not me! I always bathe and never need a shower.

On Thursday, I did not show up - apologizing to the secretary for being 15 minutes late - for my first ever mammogram only to be told I was a whole month late. No, not me! I am diligent with appointments and never show up on the wrong date. Certainly not a whole month late!

After chasing Nash all over creation during Rome's soccer game on Monday, I did not ask mother and daddy to stay home on Thursday and keep him so that I could watch Rome's game in peace. No, not me! I love taking Nash to all ballgames and never want to be away from him.

I did not tell mother to bring Wes, my nephew, over to play in the tent with the boys just so they would not have to spend another day alone inside. No, not me! I know better than to add a 3rd boy to the craziness at our house.

Nash does not have a new found trick of taking his diaper off during nap time and tee-teeing onto to floor. No, not Nash! He always keeps his diaper on and does not think he is ready to be potty trained.

Rome does not have a new found obsession with the "big" gumball machine at Nolan's. He does not constantly ask for quarters after helping me and then beg for me to stop so that he can purchase one. No, not Rome! He never obsesses over things and he certainly does not chew gum!

Don't you just love Monday where you can confess it all?
