Beach Trip Phase 2

On Sunday, June 28, we arrived at Perdido Beach Resort for Jason's MS MHA Meetings. Jason had a meeting but the boys couldn't wait to get to the beach. I took them to the beach so they could play in the sand and see the ocean. This was Nash's first trip to the beach. He and Rome had so much fun.

On Monday, Jason and I took the boys down to the beach.

They loved playing in the water.

Each time that Rome and Nash would stretch out on the chairs to eat a snack. Rome would say, "this is the life." I would have to agree!

Nash loved the boat that we took. He kept throwing his toys in and out of it.

Even though he loved the boat, he discovered he loved chasing the "chick-chicks" more. We kept telling him they were sea gulls and he could shake is and say, "no, that's a chick-chick".

Jason and Rome decided to venture out in the ocean to boogie board. Rome loved it! He rode the waves all the way in to shore.

Nash watched Rome the whole time. I guess he was trying to figure out if he was going to get a turn.

Tuesday morning in our room the boys were playing "rough" and Nash figured out he could ride Rome like a horse.

Kiah, Kristen, Leah, and "baby" Tyler came to the beach with us on Tuesday. Nash and Tyler had a great time playing.

Rome talked Kiah into jumping the waves with him.

It started raining so we went to the indoor pool. This is a picture of Leah, Tyler, Nash, and me.

We went to the baby pool for a while and Tyler loved feeding Nash goldfish.

Danny and Lorrie were with us too. Lorrie kept calling us the zoo crew because we had so much stuff. She was a life saver for me. She helped me keep the boys entertained.

The zoo crew headed back to the beach one last time.

On Tuesday night, our last night, Rome went to a Pirate Adventure while Jason and I went to a banquet.

Nash stayed at the Seller's condo.

After Rome's Pirate Adventure he spent the night at the Seller's condo. He thinks Kristen hung the moon and Kiah is not too far behind.

The beach bums had a great time but as Rome put in on the way home Wednesday, "I'm about beached out!"
