Beach Trip Phase 1

We had a great time on our semi-vacation/Jason's business trip. We went around the world to finally end up at Perdido Beach Resort in Gulf Shores.

We left on Thursday, June 25 and went to MS. Jason had to work, so my dear friend SuzAnne picked the boys and I up and we went to their house to visit. It is always great to see them and I can't believe how much Taylor and Parker have grown.

Rome and Hugh

We left their house and headed to the coast for a few days. Nash literally screamed all the way there. I kept telling SuzAnne that she was such a dear, dear friend to endure that. We took the boys to the pier before we checked into the hotel. They loved watching the boats.

We stayed at the Beau Rivage. SuzAnne and Parker went to the pool with us before they headed back to Ricton. The boys all had a blast swimming.

The buck-naked boat watching that I published in an earlier post was taken while we were at the Beau Rivage. So were the pictures of me throwing Nash in the pool.

Jason met us at the Beau Rivage. He and several of his dealers/salesmen were going to a big UFC fight. Danny, Jason's dealer from Laurel, and Lorrie, Danny's wife, also met us there. We went to Gia, a Japanese Steak house, with them. Rome loved the whole experience. He also got pretty attached to Lorrie.

We ended Phase 1 of our trip on Sunday. We left Biloxi and headed to Perdido. Here are the boys waiting to leave. We were all tired and ready to get on the road.
