So, I am not enjoying using nick-names with my bunch so I am going to use our real names from here on out. I am goint to go back to my old posts and put in our real names.
My name is Brooke, my husband is Jason, our oldest is Rome, and our youngest is Nash.

I have been trying to decide if I wanted to venture into the blog world for the past few months. I have been secretly keeping one but not publishing it. I started reading 2 blogs in January and have been struggling, praying, flip-flopping back and forth to try and decide if I wanted to do this. So....here goes nothing.
For those of you that know me personally, you will obviously know all of our names, but for the rest of you, that is one area that I am going to keep private. I am really just going to do this because I have accepted the fact that I am terrible at keeping up scrapbooks hopefully I can document things that are happening in our lives.
I haven't disclosed the fact that I am blogging to anyone so all you cyper readers are in on a little unknown fact. I do plan to tell others, just not yet. For starters I am sure that my husband will think I have lost my mind because I have kind of been anti putting the kids pictures on the internet but since I'm not using our real names maybe he won't stroke out when I tell him.
I have been trying to come up with something cute, catchy, funny, to nick-name all of us but the only thing I have come up with is the Peanut Gang. If my creative juices start flowing and I think of something else, I will change our names later, and who knows, I might just use our real names for simplicity.
The Names:
Oldest Son - "Snoopy" because he simply loves him. He sleeps with one and calls him his best pal.
Youngest Son - "Pig-Pen" because he like to be dirty and he also loves to sit in the dog's water bucket.
Love of my life - "Charlie Brown" well, because none of the other characters really fit, and above all he is a loving friend and truly a nice guy who is good to others.
Me - "Lucy" because I am often bossy, like to control things and like to give advice, whether people ask for it or not.
Well, I guess that about sums up our Peanut Gang. I hope you enjoy reading our blog.

- My name is Brooke and I am a former stay-at-home mom who returned to the classroom several ago. I am so thankful that I got to stay home and experience Rome and Nash being little because after all, they just don't stay little long enough for us. I have been married to my best friend since February 21, 2004. He is the love of my life and I can't wait to grow old with him. My blog has suffered greatly since returning to work but hopefully I will be able to get back into the swing of things this coming year.

Welcome to the blogosphere! It's a fun place to be. I started blogging last year, but didn't stick with it. Now that I'm home permanently with our 4 month old son, blogging is my "outlet." I love it! I'm also excited that you live in AL. Me too. We live in north AL. I'd love for you to visit my blog!

I am going by nicknames on my blog too, but it isn't very themed yet! haha
