Christmas Morning

Twas' the night before Christmas, when all through our house not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse;

The stockings were hung by the chimney with care...

In hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there.

The children were nestled, all snug in their beds...

While visions of Christmas gifts danced in their heads.

Our tree was all decorated with ornaments and lights...

As two little boys slept through the night.

Morning came early and the playing started...

Rome and his "famous" smile...

 with Race Car driver Nash running around for a while,

Rocky Robot was a hit, that came straight from the list!

Nash's excitement for Thomas was a priceless gift!

The grandparents came over in a snap, while two tired parents just wanted a nap!

Jesus' Birthday was wonderful in every way,

with our boys loving the gifts they were given that day!

We know how quickly they will grow,

So we will squeeze our boys a little longer and spoil them while we can,

before each becomes a man!

Christmas Eve

We always exchange presents with Mom, Dad, and Todd's bunch on Christmas Eve. Todd decided that he was still going to come and bring Will and Mary Kathryn. I think we were all a little nervous about how the night would be. I know I was. I can honestly say that it was better than I could have ever imagined it would be. It was hard but I felt a sense of peace the entire night. I wouldn't discover the reason for that peace until I was getting Nash ready for bed that night.
