Kindergarten Registration

It is official!

Rome is enrolled for Kindergarten. We met Connie and Mary Caroline for lunch at Blue Bird Cafe before we went to register.

Rome did not want me to take my camera inside but finally let me make his picture outside after we were finished. When we went into the library the kindergarten teachers took him for his screener while I filled out the paperwork. When he was finished he came and found me and with the biggest grin on his face said, "she said, I did GREAT and that I could come to Kindergarten" - poor thing, I guess he thought that if he didn't do well they wouldn't let him come.

He then ran off to find Jenny, the librarian, so she could show him where the Pee Wee Scout books were. He was amazed at how many they had and told her that he would be back in August to get him one of those books. I am so excited for him and can't wait to make his picture on the first day of school!
