Happy Birthday Nash!

My baby Nash,
I can't believe that you are already 2 years old. I decided to compile a list all about you so that I can always look back and remeber what you were like when you turned 2. One day when you are older you will be able to read about what a little stinker you were and always know how much we all love you.

What you are all about:

• chic-hen bowls
• Elmo
• playing the drums (on the garbage can with spoons, ladels, etc...)
• Hanny Manny Motor-kykle Ad-jen-ture (Handy Many Motorcycle Adventure)
• ice cream
• learning to pedal a tricycle
• scaling the ladder on the playground
• sliding down the slide
• drawing with chalk
• painting on the easel
• identifying most of your letters
• counting
• wearing your green frog boots
• stripping during naptime - sometimes you do leave on your diaper
• trying to potty train
• following Rome around and copying his every move
• playing "rough" with your daddy and Rome
• hitting
• sitting in time out
• shoes - you love all shoes and put on everyone's shoes
• hiding in our closet and then knocking as you yell "is anybody home" or "trick or treat"
• playing in the dirty/clean clothes
• digging in the dirt
• riding your "Di-a-dough motor-kykle" (Diego Motorcycle) in the mud
• finiding water and splashing in it
• pitching a fit when you don't get your way
• saying "rock-you, upstairs" when you want to be rocked
• saying "hold you" when you want to be held
• telling everyone to sit down so you can sit with them
• reading books
• playing trains
• building things
• taking things apart and putting them back together
• calling "Georgia"
• pouring Georgia's food into her bowl
• saying "this way" and "that way" while we are in the car in hopes that I will actually go the way you want me to
• singing Christmas songs
• playing name that tune
• playing with cars, trucks and trailers
• making animal noises
• talking in complete sentences - you are talking more plainly everyday we understand just about everything you say
• telling me "bye-mommy" when I drop you off at the nursery at Church, instead of screaming your head off
• asking "what's his/her name" if you don't know who/what someone/something is
• squeezing really tight to hug us
• asking every morning to "go downstairs, peeeese"
• using better manners
• you still do the sign for please and more
• telling your daddy "no, I NOT freezing"
• jumping on the bed
• sleeping - you still take 2 naps(except on Sunday), one in the morning(9:30-11:15) and one in the afternoon(2:00-4:00) - you go to bed at 7:30 and wake up around 7:00 each day
• giving sweet hugs and kisses
• melting our hearts more and more each day

It is amazing how much you have changed in two short years!

Rome and I made you a turkey cake and you tried so hard to blow out the candles all by yourself.

Rome has loved you since the day you were born! He loves playing with you and he always tries to help you.

You were so excited to get Elmo!
